How Much Does a 3PL Cost?
A 3PL charges four kinds of fees: setup, receiving, storage and a fee per order. For 3PL clients at Ecom Circles that is a one-time $650 setup fee, $9.95 per delivery received, $35 per pallet each month in storage, and $3.00 per parcel order plus $0.60 for each additional item. Every other fee is in the table below.
Mixed-SKU and lot pallets are received at the case or unit level. Time and materials is 2× after hours and 3× on weekends and holidays, and we get your OK before any larger job. The same table is on our warehouse services page.
How Does a 3PL Make Money?
A 3PL makes money by charging for each task its warehouse team does for you: checking in a delivery, handling a pallet, storing your stock, and picking, packing and labeling each order. Our 3PL rates work the same way: $9.95 per delivery received, $34.95 per pallet handled in, $3.00 per parcel order, and $85 an hour for anything not listed.
That is why a 3PL bill should read like a list of jobs, not one number. Ours does: every service is deducted from your balance as it happens and itemized in your Ecom Circles account, next to the inventory and check-ins it paid for. Here is how each order is handled, step by step: pick and pack.
How Much Does a 3PL Warehouse Cost per Pallet?
A 3PL warehouse charges per pallet twice: once to receive it and again to store it. For 3PL clients at Ecom Circles, handling in a single-SKU pallet costs $34.95. Pallet storage is $49 per pallet on arrival, then $35 per pallet each monthly anniversary. Mixed-SKU and lot pallets are received at the case or unit level instead.
Send the PO before the truck ships. We check each delivery against it and mark every item sellable or damaged, so you can file supplier claims while the window is still open.
What Do 3PL Companies Charge?
3PL companies charge per task: a setup fee, receiving, storage, a fee per order and per extra item, and time and materials for anything special. Ecom Circles publishes its 3PL rates line by line, and the calculator below adds up your month from your own volumes: deliveries, pallets, orders and items per order.
