Is Amazon FBA Prep ending?
Yes. Amazon ended its own FBA Prep Service on January 1, 2026, so it no longer prepares or labels units for sellers once they reach its fulfillment centers. Sellers now prep before they ship in, either in-house or through an Amazon FBA prep service like Ecom Circles that receives, labels, bags and sends your units to FBA.
FBA prep is the work of getting inventory to Amazon’s fulfillment center standards before it ships. Sending units to us instead of straight to Amazon adds one stop, and in return every unit arrives counted, labeled and prepped to Amazon’s rules. Selling on Walmart too? The same warehouses handle Walmart WFS prep at the same rates. Shipping FBM orders too? Our Amazon 3PL service runs FBA prep and FBM fulfillment from one warehouse.
