An eBay seller looking for a fulfillment service is usually tired of one of these:
- Every sale means packing a box, printing a label and a trip to drop the parcel off.
- Your spare room or garage has turned into a stockroom.
- Orders wait the week you are away or out sourcing.
- Stock for eBay, Amazon and Walmart sits in different places.
Does eBay Have Its Own Fulfillment?
eBay is a marketplace, and on most orders the seller ships the item. eBay has offered warehouse programs through logistics partners, such as eBay Fulfilment by Orange Connex in the UK and Managed Delivery, which eBay has announced. The other route is a 3PL: an independent US warehouse that stores your stock and ships your eBay orders.
With a 3PL, your eBay inventory sits in a warehouse you picked, and the same stock can ship the orders from your other stores.
How Does a 3PL Fulfill eBay Orders?
You send your inventory to the 3PL, and it ships your eBay orders for you. At Ecom Circles we check each delivery in against your PO and store it. When an eBay order reaches us, we pick the items, pack and label the parcel, ship it, and send you the tracking number to mark the order shipped on eBay.
eBay is not connected to the Ecom Circles software yet, so eBay orders do not sync to us automatically. We agree how your eBay orders reach the warehouse when we set up your account. Here is each step after that.
- 1
Receive
Send the PO before the truck ships. We check the delivery against it and mark each item sellable or damaged, so you can file supplier claims while the window is still open.
- 2
Store
Checked-in stock goes to its shelf location and shows up in your Ecom Circles dashboard.
- 3
Order in
A buyer checks out on eBay and the order reaches our warehouse the way we set up with you when you start.
- 4
Pick and pack
We pull each item on the order, box it and label it. Label processing is included in the parcel order price.
Pick and pack→ - 5
Ship
The carrier collects the parcel and you get the tracking number to mark the order shipped on eBay.
- 6
Returns
Buyers can return to our warehouse. We inspect each return and restock or dispose of it based on condition.

How Much Does eBay Fulfillment Cost?
At Ecom Circles, 3PL clients pay $3.00 per parcel order, with label processing included, and $0.60 for each additional item in the same order. 3PL clients also pay a one-time $650 setup fee. Receiving, storage and every other service are priced line by line on our full 3PL rate table, so you can see each charge before you start.
Every service is deducted from your balance as it happens and itemized in your account. Orders that are entered by hand, storage, surcharges and every other 3PL line are on the 3PL pricing page.
